A Nightmare From Ruthless Webmaster.

These time on my post, I had to share with you readers/viewers, experienced I've had few years back by hiring unprofessional webmaster to get 2 of my company websites done.
For website owners out there who are having same issues and still clueless how to take another big step forward,you are most welcome to read through my post.

And if you're company have not started a website yet & you're running business customer's related services. It's time for you to start sooner or later.

You need to know it is a MUST to have own company website and it's one of your company back bone.

Maintaining your regular customers informed on any new information or latest upcoming products.

Most important of all, chances of potential/new customers,currently advanced internet online users & booming smart phone users technology.

To have company website in cyber/internet area are much important to introduce your products,company locations/details & introducing services you're company providing.
Similar to,engaging tv commercials, newspaper agency or magazine advertising company to get it done promote your company products & services.

Try to visualize within 1 or 2 years time,just think about it, which one of the above, will be more effective (by cost & by exposure) able to attract more consumers very soon from now?
Know these :

Fast growing chain company owner,Mr Toshifumi Suzuki ,7-eleven Japan, known as (Seven & I Holding) have said before "When you're running any kind of business in this generation,it's compulsory to have a website."

Recently this year, resigned Yahoo Japan CEO,Mr Masayoshi Son, he had to give up his position & make way to younger generation,current CEO,Mr Hiroshi Mikitani, taking over Yahoo Japan,for it's new changes in fast paced advanced IT cyber/technology.

Back to my post again, my company used to hire a webmaster whom trying start out for his
web /IT carrier as a freelancer.
Both of my boss & I knew him personally,eventually we've decided to try him out by mutual agreement.Create web templates on php,images,install wordpress plugins, set up company domain name & email, web maintenance & so on, paying him every month . Further more none of us are familiar & knows absolutely nothing about websites at that time.

Both of my company had (English & Japanese) websites were set up on wordpress template.
For the first 2 years, my webmaster was very helpful but eventually from the 3rd year onwards, certain request from us was not done or being delayed.
Read through ,if you're encountering any of 2 or 3 or more similar problems.

My boss had made requests no. of times ,making profile about him to put up in the one of our website,for online viewers to know more about his work,so far nothing was done at all.
Both of websites design was not even planned,not well-structured , sidebars & footers were unprofessionally done.
Even my customers complaining, having on hard time to find back to home link (for my English website) after reading blog posts & even installed scroll back to top widget was not working for quite sometime.
And as for my boss, whom keep on doing regular posting on updates in my company blog,was getting very frustrated each time, none of his blog posts not even crawled by web spiders.
I've found out, 2 of my websites had no S.E.O (search engine optimization) for years.
Or not even social networks ( F.Y.I website owners: It's one of webmaster duties to do set up few social networks on websites & work it out with their clients,if you still have none of those,get it done immediately!) by Ms Janis Pettit.
Even both of my websites rss feed subscription form was not properly set up & not working at all .You can learn from very easy set up Rss Tutorials Here.
He even had my customer's from overseas comment accidentally deleted from my website comment system & did not retrieve it back for us.*All comments system are backed up & retrievable in comment system providers, website owners take note,you have the right, to get hold any of these account name & password.*

Never realized earlier on that my company was being overcharged for years by this webmaster.
These amateur webmasters really missed out & don't even realized the most important point (Losing customer's trust & adding in bad images for these real professionals who are working very hard most of the days & knows the demand on current technology in the same industry). How much do they (amateur webmasters) really worth for these working qualities & working etiquette ?
I've finally finds out about the actual/market charges,hiring a true professional & ways to set up own website cost-effectively ,from them, thanks to Md Mustafa Ahmedzai, Ms Janis Pettit & "Remained Anonymous".

I've already knew right from the start, I'll be hearing excuses such as (e.g websites needs person do it right to get it readable,blah,blah,blah ) once I told to stop all my company web services.
Ms Jannis Pettit , had pointed out beforehand, threaten or excuses may/might happened from ruthless webmasters, try to remain very calm .
We had him for at least 4 years and well I do really had enough from him & discontinued his services,last year in 2011.

About 3 weeks ago ,my company video done by previously hired webmaster, was suddenly taken off from my website.( Either a back lash or due to copyrights (^_~)>???)
Well,I've managed to put up a new video back again, though I've had my company videos on youtube. It's good lesson for me though ,at least I've managed to learn another new stuff .
*Having a video to put in your website means another way, attracting visually by introducing your products & services for your online customers*.

I've finally got both of my company website back on track last year & putting them back in right places, with many sleepless nights (last year) with my best companion (3-in-coffee).

These are first few things you needs to know before hiring someone.

Know These :

Never ever engaged a webmaster based on mutual trust even though you know that person personally or recommended by someone.
Check up on him or her IT/Web experiences/profiles & do lots of own research first before hiring one.
Make a sure to prepare a signed contract on both party agreements in terms & conditions upon hiring .
If you're webmaster are not doing the job requested while getting paid monthly, pushed him/her every now & then to get your requests done .(It will definitely hurt & affect your business for sure if it's not done or delayed)
Last Resort : Consult legal adviser, (if it's seriously affecting your business) get their advised on how to handle or take action (if needed) with them if agreement on signed contract had not been met or not done based on terms & conditions.
Try searching in your local search engine or source out for better qualified webmasters or web designers who had real passion & fully dedicated for his/her job, there's are still many out there !
Or you can even give it a try by starting your own. (Some of these credits goes to Ms Jannis Pettit)

Words just can't describe how truly I do appreciate & respect for these individuals in their every aspect of true passions,carrier & skills.

That's the reason why I'll try to improve myself more on the websites that I've doing right now, started blogging & enjoying learning while embracing new cyber/current technology since then.
And not forgetting to pop-in some smiles for my blog readers .....
